Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated business development person to expand our client base in underserved markets. In this position you will be both responding to inbound inquiries and prospecting for potential clients. You will qualify and educate the potential clients on the features of Lauris Online in an on-line or in-person tailored demonstration where you will show the client or owner how certain system features can benefit them and solve their specific problems. You will be a part of a tightly woven team and provide valued technical input on exciting and complex projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound lead inquiries AND proactively seek new clients for Lauris Online.
- Establish rapport and trust with the customer prior to conducting a demonstration to understand their problem and how they may benefit from the Lauris Online platform.
- Educate the potential clients on the features of Lauris Online in an on-line or in-person tailored demonstration where you will tie those features into an example of how the system will benefit the client or owner and solve their problems.
- Follow our sales process from Lead Generation to Contract Execution.
- Secure signatures on 5+ SOWs with new customers each month.
- Attend trade shows and meetings as required.
- Create innovative direct outreach campaigns and present recommendations to management.
- Work cross-departmentally with other team members to optimize the on-boarding process.
- Actively participate in weekly 1 on 1 meetings with the manager and in a weekly staff meeting.
- Respond to unplanned events in a prompt and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Prior Lauris online user and/or prior behavioral health care industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Must have strong goal clarity, high achievement drive, great self-awareness, and excellent social skills.
- Strong writing skills (emails, proposals, and CRM).
- Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and high commitment to activities required to be successful in the role.
- Work well in a team environment.
